Michael Jones is a seasoned law enforcement professional with more than 26 years of dedicated service as a police officer in Shreveport, Louisiana. Known for his integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public safety, he has served in a wide range of critical assignments, including as a SWAT Operator and trained hostage negotiator, bringing experience and professionalism to some of the most sensitive and high-risk situations in policing.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mike has earned numerous honors and certifications, including eight Unit Citations, the Patriot Award in 2018, the Life Saving Award, a Medal of Valor, and PTO of the Year. He is also a highly trained and decorated SWAT operator, with specialized tactical certifications that reflect his advanced skill set and dedication to excellence.

As a lieutenant, Jones has held multiple supervisory roles across the Shreveport Police Department, including the Detective Office, Domestic Violence and Homicide Unit, Electronic Forensic Team, and the Sex Crimes Sergeant. His broad investigative background, command experience, and specialized training have made him a respected leader and trusted resource within the department.

She was honored as Detective of the Year in 2010, earned the Chief's Appreciation Award in 2020, recognized as Supervisor of the Year in 2021, and named Woman of Law Enforcement — distinctions that reflect both her investigative skill and her ability to lead with strength and accountability.
As a Sergeant, Azlin continues to set a high standard within the department, combining operational experience with decisive leadership. She is committed to mentoring officers, strengthening team performance, and ensuring the highest level of service and safety for the community she proudly serves.
